Another impact that drug cheats have on me is that I feel like athletes that drug cheat deserve no respect. People that drug cheat are breaking the rules of the olympics which shows the desperation they have to do well and represent their country but they deserve no respect as there are other athletes that they are competing against who have used no enhancing drugs and have trained very hard to get to where they are just to be beaten by somebody who used drugs usually this result in the drug cheat to get the glory on the podium whilst the hard working non drug cheat is extremely gutted they missed out but then months later it comes out the drug cheater has been tested positive to using enhancing drugs this means they are stripped of their medal and banned. I don’t think drug cheats deserve our respect, let alone another chance to compete in the Olympic games. I think that because they have gone and broken the laws of the Olympics they should not be able to come back and compete as they have already had a chance to but they took advantage of it by drug cheating and there is a chance that they may also try drug cheating again. By eliminating the drug cheats from the olympic games by banning them for good this means there is a more even playing field as there are less drug cheats therefore it will become more fair and less “normal” to use drugs for performance purposes this will decrease the effect that drug cheats have on the aspiring younger athletes as there won’t be as much advertisement of athletes using drugs to get the
