CHAPTER FOUR Less than a light year away, on Earths only moon, sat Colin’s imperial mothership and inside it, Colin on his throne. The empires chief scientist, Simon, is sitting down pondering during a time in which he was supposed to be at work. He stared down at the Earth, with a sad face,
“Those stupid asses,” he muttered.
Logan, Simon’s assistant, simply didn’t know whether to respond or not to, for Simon often did talk to himself. Right before Logan could say a word, Simon continued with a sigh. “To think, the only reason we are in the galaxy today, is due to a nuclear war. Unlike most, Sameer was born in captivity, and he had never driven in his life. So, they crash landed on Earth.
They left Eric in the ship to rest and the other 6 of them explored the area. They saw a city and nearly screamed with joy. For many of them, it was the first time they had ever seen one. For the others it had still been a very long time.
They walked into the city. It was dark, had a horrid stench, and was dark everywhere. Parts of the city were crumbling, and many building were overgrown with vines. A man in robes approached them, offering them what seemed to be a religious book. Hey said no thank you and continued on their way. The man, obviously desperate for money, stalked them and pleaded.

Another man, a very brutish one, yelled at the street urchin, “Can’t you see they don’t want one?!” The brute shoved the poor man against a wall, thrust him away from it, and shoved him to the ground. A young woman, seemingly the urchin’s wife screamed at them to stop. So did Jayden. Instead of stopping, the brute stamped on the poor man’s neck. He pulled up his bloody foot.
