Have you ever wondered why life was created and what your purpose is? Well, you probably have, you just don’t remember it. We ask ourselves a variety of questions every day. It might be a simple or hard question you are facing throughout the day, but the answer is the main thing you need to remember. The meaning of life is more than just a simple question like the others we ask ourselves.
Ramifications of chasing traditional rewards in, “How Not to Get into College”, “Somnambulist”, and “Iced- Cream” “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s dream”. Implying that The authors develop the message that people assume extrinsic rewards equal joy and satisfaction in their lives. However, their intentions ultimately lead to lives filled with regret, and disappointment in the process of achieving their goals. People assume that chasing extrinsic rewards will bring back the joy and comfort back into their lives, yet they are only left in depression.
Throughout chapters 10-36 in the Book of 2 Chronicles, there are twenty rules that are brought to attention for the twenty rulers. All of the rules are very appropriate for what a leader should look like in the House of God, and they are all things that I hope to someday adhere to. I find that almost all of the rules are applicable to my life, but there are a few that I recognize as areas that I could work on more. One of the rules that I find more challenging than the others is to seek first the Great Physician for my healing.

The reader can acknowledge how Singer believes that the primary source of living a meaningful life, is love. Within his novel, the Pursuit of Love, Irving Singer discusses how love is the central definition of what meaning is, as well as further analyzes how love is not a desire to be loved. Nonetheless, Irving Singer would claim that life is not meaningless because humans search for meaning within all aspects of our existence. By solely being alive, individuals find the things that matter to them; therefore, whatever we as individuals believe “matters,” is a prerequisite for our life because it will bring happiness. Irving Singer’s optimistic theories make him an ideal philosopher because he offers an immense amount of insight by discussing how we can add meaning to our lives.
(11). What is the point of life? This question wandered about in my head demanding an answer as I read the poem. Is life as simple as a short meal at a kitchen table? After reading “Perhaps the World Ends Here,” I am made aware of the answer to this very question.

These questions are asked, discussed and argued by many philosophers around the world to look for a significance of people’s living or existence in general.
This passage talks about many different things. Work is one of the main topics, Ecclesiastes goes on about how god has set forth and put work here for each and everybody. Instead of worrying about other things that we have no control over, humans should find things that they like that they can grow and build on. One thing that is for certain is that you live and you die. No one knows for certain what things were like before you were born, and what things will be like after you die.
As tempting as it is to admire the aura of Achilles as a great war hero, his character flaws, as outlined throughout The Iliad, prove his actions to be no more heroic than they are merciless acts of rage. Driven primarily by personal glory, Achilles will do anything for his name to be remembered through time. As great as he is on the battlefield, he ultimately fails as a hero on the grounds of poor morality, dishonourable behaviour, and a severe insensitivity towards his love for Patroclus. Achilles lead a life of malicious and violent behaviour, revealing little to no moral conduct. Man first exists without a purpose or definition, finds himself in the world and only then, as a reaction to the experience, defines the meaning of life.”. The book of Ecclesiastes has a reputation for being a forlorn novel, filled with the complaints of a man in despair. Everyone thinks of the most well-known phrase from the book: “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” But as we read through the thoughts of the author we can see clearly what he is missing in his life.
So everything that we do, every action and decision that we make is in the assumption that there is something “good” to come of it because that is what we are all working and living for. The purpose and the function of our lives is more that just survival in a physical sense but of having a rational soul which means using our reason excellently. Therefore, When we give meaning to our life, I believe we also have to be realistic and focus on our meaning for living and set concrete goals. If we set our meaning of life to becoming the biggest super model in the world yet you 're not working towards it or you just set an unrealistic goal. Then eventually that 's going to alter your life 's meaning and cause you to live in Denial, and unhappy. Our life 's meaning comes from within us it 's something we have to think hard
