The impacts of World War One on America included economic, political, and social effects. Social effects included fashion. Before the war, women would change up to three times a day. During the war, women took a simple look due to the conservation of materials for the war. Political impacts included the Treaty of Versailles and the League of Nations. The Treaty Of Versailles ended the war between Germany and the Allied Powers. The League of Nation was “The agreement or “covenant” to establish the League, written into the treaty, embodied Wilson’s vision of a new world order of peace and justice.” (pg.689). The treaty imposed economic provisions to defeat Germany. Economically, supply and demand increased and government agencies were established.
