Dear Sirs, With a lot of research, it is concluded that the colonies are not ready to help with the war between Great Britain and the French due to their cultural characteristics, willingness to help the king, motivations of leaving Great Britain to go to the colonies. It would be very difficult for only the southern colonies to defend Britain from the French since the middle and New England colonies would not defend Great Britain because they left Britain because of cultural reasons. The geography and climate of the regions the colonies are in would help with the war because of their growth season and the crops they make.

This issue should have been dealt with differently; there is a way to stop uprisings like this other than killing people. The people should be free to follow their own beliefs.
Thomas Paine grew up in a working class family, this along with other hardships allowed him to be focused on those less fortunate. Not only was Thomas Paine concerned for the poor ,but he also fought for the rights he thought were being stripped away from the lower class. Paine was outraged by the injustices within the government. He believed that the only way to change such an oppressive system was through revolutionary transformation..
The conservative Burke who thought that human beings were not perfectible contrasted significantly with the progressive Condorcet who thought the opposite. Burke was raised in a family with a strong religious background where he and his mother were close in relationship. America joined the conflict for a few reasons, many felt that the British had not yet come to honor the United States as an authorized country. So gaining the respect and territory from its old rulers was important to America. The blood of all those men, our brothers, husbands, and children, who died in that war is on their hands, more so than on the French themselves! The French may have fired the first shots, but it was their governor who first sold the land, out of greed and contempt for the laws set forth by our King. It is their people who must pay for the lives of those men, and if not in blood, than in the blood money they have stolen from us

Therefore, Burke not only adopted a counter-revolutionary attitude, but a counter-enlightenment one. The people of France tried to resolve issues peacefully but the king cared only about his power and acted at the expense of the citizens. According to the French Revolution portion of the Encyclopedia Britannica Online, the bourgeoisie wanted to have political power and the peasants did not want the feudal system to continue (French Revolution 2). A large meeting was held to discuss and solve issues, but, “rumors of an ‘aristocratic conspiracy’ by the king and the privileged to overthrow the Third Estate led to the Great Fear of July 1789.” (French Revolution 2). With the king of France being unwilling to actually resolve any conflicts, the only choice that was left was to overthrow the government as a whole and rebuild it into being a more fair and just system.
