When it's close to that spooky Halloween time or just feel like you need a good scare with the odd and unexplained you turn into one of the Tim Burton films. These Films you're at the edge of your seat, it's as good as William shakespeare's twisting tales of magic and mischief. Some being as dark as night while other stories tell of a lighter tale with a twist of fate and plots to draw you in for even more begging for the thrilling ending! But how does this one man come up with such frantic grace and a frenzy of planned out stories to make just the right setting? Burton has the help of cinematic technique. This phenomenal film shows many different lighting and music techniques to show the instantaneous changes in the scenery the character is in. one example is when Edward flashed back to his past the bright day turning into a dimly lighted building that seemed like a factory kind of mood. It showed a calm sort of music to show off the nice memory of the relationship of the inventor and the man-made man. This movie strongly used the cinematic technique of lighting during the entire movie, which progressed the stories mood and plot throughout the dramatic scenes. Lighting had dramatically changed the two backgrounds as in the beginning the mood was dark, lonely, empty. Then as Edward moved to the lower neighborhood it was suddenly extremely happy, constant, bright , and cheerful!. This movie is all about a young poor boy who gets a chance to go to the willy Wonka extraordinary chocolate factory made with wonder and magic. But how do these filmmakers capture the exact mood? The situation of the perils and the adventure these people take on in the story? This movie I feel has specifically used music and camera angles in order to capture the unusual magic and magic of these extra extraordinary candy making skills into this film.
