Toxic waste is poisonous to all life forms and it specially affects the environment by eliminating plants and animals, interrupting their growth cycles and even leading animals to extinction. By harming the environment, hazardous waste threatens humans. Toxic waste is mostly harmful to all life forms humans, animals and plants. Nearly every activity or event people leave behind them some kind of waste in the environment. Some wastes may contain chemicals that are dangerous to people and the environment and my harm them. Industrial and manufacturing processes create solid and dangerous waste. As soon these dangerous chemicals are presented in the environment, people can become exposed to them. Exposure is known as when people have contact with a chemical, either directly or through another object that is polluted with a dangerous chemical.
Toxic waste has already left on our environment poisonous chemical in our oceans, lakes, and rivers. Every year, fish, and whales wash up on our seashores full of enough trash and pollution to kill an individual several times.
Human exposures to dangerous chemicals can happen at the same place were the toxic waste is happened or the chemical could move to a place where people can come in touch with it. Chemicals can move through air, soil, and water. They can also be on plants or animals, and can get into the air we breathe, the meals we consume and the water we drink.
