Did you know there are more than 2,000 Egyptian gods? They were the gods of many different things including the earth, the ancient Egyptians believed that earthquakes were Geb's laughter. Geb, the earth god, has the head of a goose. There were also gods that dealt with love, war, and etc. The Egyptian Empire was also an important period of life. They had their own writing, language, burials, government, religion, cooking, and games. So, who were some of the Egyptian gods?

The pharaohs were buried in pyramids of many different shapes and sizes from before the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the end of the Middle Kingdom. There are about eighty pyramids known today from the ancient Egypt. The three largest and best-preserved of these were built at Giza at the beginning of the Old Kingdom. Artifacts related to the egyptians remain as a testament to the workers who transformed ancient Egypt into an earthly area.

For so of the trades and crafts many egyptians made stone and clay pots which is one of the most important categories of Egyptian artifacts. The banks of the Nile provided the mud and clay used to make ceramic ware. Food was cooked in clay pots, which also served as containers for the grains, water, wine, beer, flour and oils that were collected.
