Standing as some of the oldest, tallest, and most archictully advanced structures on the planet, the Pyramids of Giza are some of the most amazing things that were ever built by mankind. It is believed by some that the Pharaohs of Egypt built the pyramids as tombs, it is believed by others that they were actually built around 800,000 years ago. There are structures in Egypt that help scientist determine how old the Pyramids are. There are also signs that the people that built these Pyramids had knowledge of modern science. So many things about the Pyramids remain mystery, and this leads to a great amount of doubt surrounding what we think we know.

For a long time it was believed that Khufu built the Great Pyramid, and Khafre built one, and Menkaure built one. These were all Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Scientist are questioning if the Pharaohs simply “remodeled” the Pyramids or simply claimed the Pyramids as their own. Also, because of how long it is estimated to have taken to build the Pyramids, researchers believe that it is unlikely that Pharaohs built these as tombs because it took anywhere from 20 to 600 years to complete them. Scientist have also never found a mummy in any of the three Pyramids of Giza and researchers believe that the carvings on some of the walls of the Pyramid were faked. These amazing facts include that the three Pyramids of Giza align directly with Orion's Belt, a constellation of stars. The Great Pyramids foundation aligns with true north, only being off by 3/60ths of a degree. When the sun sets and rises on the Great Pyramid on the days of the equinoxes, one can clearly see that there are eight sides, and not four. The Pyramids are at the exact geological center of the earth’s land mass. The dimensions of the foundations of the Great pyramid multiplied by 43,200 equals the radius of the earth.
