In "Night" by Elie Wiesel and the poem "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" by Dylan Thomas, they both talk about not giving up, even when life gets really hard. In "Night," Wiesel writes about his time in concentration camps during the Holocaust, where he saw really awful things.
