All around the world, people are subject to discrimination, prosecution, segregation and many more. Throughout history, people have been controlled against their will. People have been treated unfairly in the past, are being abused in the present, and unless we stop it, will be continued in the future. If we are going to stop this cycle of madness, we have to stand against wrongdoers and protect the innocent. People can work together to achieve any goal. Elie Wiesel impacted the lives of others through his writing about his experiences in life. Wiesel grew up under harsh circumstances and against all odds, survived to tell his tales of the past. He was a fighter and wrote numerous books, including his “Night” trilogy. Wiesel encourages others to do what he couldn’t, which is to stand up for others and stand up for the weak. In his acceptance speech, Wiesel says refers to a “Jewish boy,” who represents the Jewish population during the war. He says the boy wondered what he did with his future, what he did to impact the lives of others. He believes he has not done enough and encourages others to be compassionate and kind to everyone, for one day, there will be no war, arguments, or harassment. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. has been sent to prison for his “crimes” against the state. People may not always agree with the message trying to be sent across. This is unlikely to happen, as the 10 Amendments prevent state officials from doing it.Amendments 4 and 5 support the case that King Jr. was wrongfully jailed. The 4th Amendments is the protection of unreasonable searches because he is not one to fight and has never inflicted harm on others. The 5th Amendment is another one that proves that King Jr. was innocent. It gives people the right to a fair trial. While many people may argue that positivity won't do anything, the mindset allows others to get through tough situations, as they still have hope in their cause.
