My Narrative- Ella Erickson

“Ready?” The Disney Aqua Duck attendant said.
My mom and I nodded simultaneously,
“Then get ready for the best ride of your life,” the water slide attendant said.
The lights flashed from red to yellow to green on the TV monitor showing the whole slide. Suddenly, my mom and I were given a slight push and were racing down at lightning speed, the Aqua Duck, the Disney Cruise’s famous water slide where it dips out and over the edge of the Disney Dream cruise boat and it was an epic seven hundred sixty five feet long. My mom and I were screaming since we were so excited. The water was crisp but that did not ruin our terrific ride.It was so awesome it felt like a dream, it didn’t seem like we were actually zooming down the Aqua Duck.

The next morning, my family and I woke up at 5:30 in the morning, we were all so tired but we remembered what it was for, to get on the boat early to go in the pool and awesome water slide we had heard had really long lines. I had waited for this day for the whole summer, and now I was really psyched since it was finally happening: We were going on a Disney Cruise! We packed up our suitcases, left them outside our door so they could be delivered to the cruise boat and went down to Starbucks to eat breakfast as happy as could be. After breakfast we went downstair to get on the Disney Cruise shuttle bus, where it would take us to the cruise. We got on the Disney Cruise shuttle, it took us forty-five minutes to get there, and I was glad when they turned on a cool video about all features off the cruise boat had, to pass the time. I could barely stay seated since I was so ecstatic. After we got there we had to go through security line, the line was pretty short, but I still didn’t like
