The film plot is as it follows: The film starts with Ella, a girl who lives a wealthy life next to her parents in a peaceful kingdom. Since she was young her mother taught her to believe in the existence of magic, this allowed her to befriend the animals from her house. Everything was going perfectly, until her mother dies; on her deathbed, she makes Ella promise that she'll always have courage and be kind to others. Years later, Ella's father reveals that he is thinking about choosing Tremaine's widow, who has two daughters, Drizella and Anastasia, as his second wife. When Ella tries to join her stepfamily on the way out to the ball, Lady Tremaine and her daughters rip up Ella’s dress before leaving without her, claiming that her presence will disgrace them. Ella runs in tears and encounters an old woman, who presents herself as her Fairy Godmother. By using her magic, she turns a pumpkin into a carriage, the mice into horses, a goose into a coachman, two lizards into footmen, and Ella’s dress into a gorgeous blue gown paired with glass shoes and sends her on her way to the ball, but not before warning her that the spell only lasts until midnight. At the ball, Ella has the first dance with Kit, whose true identity she is cheerfully surprised to learn. After the dance, Ella and Kit spend time together, slowly falling in love, but before he can learn her name, the clock strikes forcing her to leave. Ella drops one of her glass shoes, but manages to get away before the stroke of midnight and hides the other shoe in her room. Soon, the king dies, and gives his son permission to marry his love. In order to find the mysterious lady, an announcement is made, according to which every maiden from the kingdom has to try on the glass shoe. When Ella goes to her room for the other shoe, she finds Lady Tremaine waiting,
