When I was little, I always thought that I could get a horse and run away if I ever needed to. I guess I know now where that idea came from. My grandma, Ellen Flowers, was a wild child in almost all aspects of her life, giving her flare and spunk as she grew up. My grandma was as much of a rebel child as you could be. I'm surprised they didn't have a special chair for her in the office. She was always getting in trouble, whether it was at home or school or wherever she was, she could do some damage. One day after lunch time, she was thinking that throwing her seater in the air as high as possible was a good idea. It was not. It got caught in the light above her, which she didn't think could happen, but it did and off to the office she went. During class whenever she wouldn't stop talking or goofing around, she would have to stick her nose in a circle on the chalkboard and stay there for the rest of class or until the teacher told her to go sit down again. Her absolute favorite thing to do was go ice skating, but not normal ice skating, ice skating at night, in the dark, alone. That sounds like absolute heaven to me. She used that time to relax and just be with herself, think through her day and days to come. It really helped her mind be more focussed and calm. Gardening was also a hobby of her’s that I now know where I got my desire from. Her grandmother, ??????, gave her the love for plants that she has today, just like I got my love of plants from my grandmother, Ellen. Gardening is a good life booster for my grandmother and I because if you can keep a plant alive, in our case lots of plants, than that feeling is terrific. If gives us pride in something that others might feel is
