Different Birds After I’ve read two poems, I’ve noticed that they are both about birds, but different purposes. If I got to choose which poem is my favorite, I would choose “Hope is the thing with feathers” by Emily Dickinson. Hope is something we are always seeking of, and I like how Emily wrote her poem, very unique and creative. The tone of this poem is more of happy, the title is already a word that have full of positivity. In my understanding, hope is something that Emily always seeking of. She describes hope as a bird, when birds sing, sounds like the song of hope makes her smile.
