End-Up In Jail Narrative

I’ve been in jail for around a year now, I’ve made three new friends. We meet up at lunch and have chats about almost anything. Today’s chat is about how we ended up in jail. I found out that all of my friends were arrested because they were caught stealing. One of my friends said, “how’d you end up here Bob?” I said, “this is a long story, are you sure?” “Yes,” said another friend. Here the story began. “Around 10 o’clock at night, I was waiting in front of a old burnt down restaurant.” “Why?” One friend asked with a confused look on his face. I replied, “save all of the questions till the end please.” “Ok,” my friend shook his head in agreement. I continued with my story, “It was a appointment I had made twenty years ago with a old friend of mine.” All three of my friends moved in closer filled with interest.
