Final Exam Essay
During this spring semester of English Composition two it taught me how to expand my writing ability to the fullest. The class taught me how to write a paper in the humanities, social science, and natural science. Within each one of the disciplines it had a different format that continues to add on to my forever growing knowledge of English, and how the writing style differs between each other. To kick off the semester, our first paper was in the natural science discipline. This was my first time ever writing in this format so I was excited, but nervous at the same time. Our topic for this discipline was to create our own lab report, which I conduct mine of the different type of ways repetition can help improve memory. To say that I didn’t know how to begin this paper was a huge understanding, but thanks to the heaven my professor went over the details over the paper in class. On this paper, we were allowed to work in groups, and pick a film that everyone could pull a scene of their choice. The movie my group decided to do was on the classic Beauty and the Beast, where I did the transformation scene. This paper was written in MLA format, which in my opinion is the easiest format. This paper consists of an introduction and a thesis statement, which I had problems with but after looking at the other person's paper during the peer review it helped me out by a lot. The next thing that the paper consists of being the same five step process that was in the social science paper to write the paragraphs. In this paper I only need one source that had to be cited in the text. To help me finally pulled the whole paper together, it took a lot of advice from my group members, and also view other people’s papers during the peer
