The paper is about the condition of the enslaved woman in the 18th century. The article focuses on their status, their roles, and the overall environment in which they worked. The paper explores stories of past mistreatment of the female slaves by their masters and the results of this brutality. The article further expounds on the relationship that existed between the slave women and their masters and the relationship between the slave women and their fellow slaves. Finally, the paper focuses on the family that resulted from the rape of these women. The slavery in North America dates back the early colonial period, in the 1800s. During Abraham Lincoln's presidency, he fought for their rights by the use of emancipation proclamation program. In the eighteenth century, the number of males exceeded that of females (Ramey, 2014). The two groups, however, were in different colonies. The women who had been taken mainly from Africa to be slaves worked in different circumstances and regions. They experience a diversity of enslavement in their territories while slave sex was also on the increase. The women were at constant risk of being molested. The women could not form a union to fight for their rights due to the existence of the discriminatory laws. However, those that were in the northern states were more outspoken about the injustice of slavery.
