Overall Purpose
Epilepsy Scotland aims to:
Influence the way we think in order to improve lives of those affected.
Provide high quality, person- centred support services and information resource.
Be financially stable in order to continue the excellent work they are doing.
In support of the aims of the organisation, the projects intends
• To increase the awareness of at least 100 people who have a changed perception about Epilepsy.
• To show people what Epilepsy Scotland does, provide a resource of information about support for those affected and support required from individuals.
• To raise funds of up to £5,000 in support of the charity.

Current Business
Epilepsy Scotland plays a vital role in improving lives of those affected, by providing information and support services that is tailored to suit. This means a person centred approach to support which recognises other medical conditions that usually comes with epilepsy and providing support in those areas too.
It also provide training and guide for health professionals and support services for those whose lives or work are affected as a result of a person’s diagnosis. For example a guide for a class teacher whose pupil may have seizure at school.

This project will be using this strategy: creating interests, tackling stigma, raising funds and thereby improving lives of those affected which is the vision for Epilepsy Scotland.
Solution
Funds raised from the completion of this project will go towards implementation of support services by the charity, create make greater awareness and eventually contribute towards sustaining the charity work.

Cake, Tea and Water will be made available on that day and money for this will be contributed by group members

There are no other costs envisaged.
Low attendance could be an issue on that day, Project group is coming up with ideas on how this can be avoided. Invitation of other groups in the class, student union members, students from the nursing department and any individual who is interested within and outside the campus community.
