Epilogue Agust Dakota had always been curious as a smaller child. It used to worry her mother all the time because she would always disappear for hours and her mother could never find her. She could never figure out where Agust went, but only would know when she came back. Her mom always remembered August telling her stories about meeting other people that looked exactly like her. “Come on, Agust! I have to show you this blueish looking hole that I found!” yelled Agust’s good friend, Tyler. He’d been bragging about the hole in the ground to her all day. “I’m coming kid, jeez.” She huffed as she climbed to the top of the hill they’d been walking up. “Woah… Tyler… Do you know what this means?” she said as she gazed at the scene in front …show more content…
She could feel herself leaning more and more forward until she started falling into the hole head first. “TYLER! HELP! GET HELP!” she started screaming until her lungs burned. “AGUST!” was the last thing she heard him scream before it got so silent it was deafening. Agust must’ve been falling for days. Or months. I’m jealous that the others get to stay longer, but we can’t…” said the first one angrily. They sounded like they were going to throw a tantrum right then and there. But luckily they got up and walked out. Just then she heard more footsteps and a door creak open. When the door had been propped open she heard more familiar voices on the other side. “Did I undoubtedly fall into a portal?” she thought. “That seems highly unlikely, but it might just be crazy enough to the point it may have happened” Just as she finished her thought the door creaked
