The author is unclear about his stance as if he is writing in an utopian or a dystopian sense. It is because the race is trying to be utopic but according what they are doing is dystopic. He uses literary devices such as Anagram. Anagram is rearranging the letters of a word or a phrase to another. For example, the name of the book is Erewhon, which comes from Nowhere which seems dystopic because the name of the place is Erewhon, a place that is nowhere.
Dislike
What I dislike are the law of the Erewhonian from the book, as they treat people who are ill as criminal and people who actually do criminal activities are treated kindly.
Relation to Animal Farm
It was hard to relate as the books main theme connects to animal farm but it was hard to compare the characters within the theme.
Relevancy
The book is still relevant due to its satire towards the Victorian era. And there is a lot that is still relevant and many point that will make us think. It may have been written as a satire of Victorian life and morals that makes us think – e.g. getting rid of the machines because they will eventually evolve and take over the world. Machines probably meaning the computer or any electronic devices that we use every day such as our mobile phones.
