Erudite: A Narrative Fiction

Beatrice, Caleb, and Four have just survived the ambush of the Erudites. While after staying with Erudite for several days, they are forced to move once the council discover their identity. While the are all leaving, the Erudites finally track them down. Once the three dauntless fight them off, they fortunately catch a train to escape the Amity city. From there Four suggests to travel to the town of the factionless. In this town there are people who were never appointed to be in a faction. As they arrive to this town, they notice the poverty and many slums that people live in. While observing the town, they run into one of the city councilman. They are taken to a safehouse for the factionless. After settling in, they meet with the mayor of the city at the headquarters. Coincidentally, the mayor of the town, Evelyn, is Four’s mother. According to Four, his mother was said to be murdered by an Erudite, many years ago. She faked her death, to plan a rebellion against all the factions. With the help of the factionless, she plots to overthrow the Erudites, since they control the government. As a result, she could come to power to take out the system of factions, so mankind can live once again in harmony. Of course she could not accomplish these goals while being married to Marcus (Four’s father) an ally of the Erudites. …show more content…

In order to succeed, Beatrice must first befriend Four’s father, Marcus, to gain information about the Erudites. When she does this, she finds a hard drive hidden in his office. After finding out the Erudite’s plan, she steals the tape, and reports back to the factionless headquarters. As all the factionless, Caleb, Four, Beatrice, and Evelyn prepare for combat to take out the Erudites, they decide to investigate the hard drive later. In the end the three dauntless and factionless over run the Erudites headquarters and claim
