In the novel , Esperanza Rising, written by Pam Munoz Ryan , the reader meets a spoiled girl whose life went through many challenges. Throughout the novel Esperanza went from a spoiled brat to an anger frustrated girl and ended the story as a happy person. Esperanza thought her life was always going to be perfect, but it wasn’t how she expected.

In the beginning , Esperanza was soiled girl that lives in Aguascalientes,Mexico. Esperanza was spoiled because her Papa was the owner of El Rancho de Las Rosas. Esperanza had a perfect life, no struggles, and no worries. Esperanza had servants for her, she was clueless on chores and bathing herself. Esperanza wore fancy dress each day and she she 12 at that time it was about to be her 13 birthday when everything changed.

Soon after, tragedy struck Esperanza lost everything she had in Aguascalientes. This caused her to change to because she wasn’t a rich person. She had to faced …show more content…

Esperanza payed all the bills of the hospital herself and saved money to bring abuelita. Esperanza was the boss of the family because she took care of her family even though she was in a struggle. She didn’t only became responsible she became independent and patient like her Papa told her “wait a little while the the fruit will land on your hand”. Esperanza learned a valuable lesson throughout an year because she told Isabell “ never be afraid to start over” that what Esperanza did to her life.

Esperanza's life went by but she learned her lesson and everybodys has a lesson to learn also. Esperanza is a person that will never give up on her dreams no matter what happens. All those happy moments went to frousterd and moved on to happy days. I think Esperanza learned a lot indeed of being a clueless spoiled girl. In the end of the story Esperanza turned 14 in a happy life. I think being a teenager means new life ,new
