There are many issues that affect America today things such as; hunger, poverty, crime, and even cancer. These issues impact the life of millions of Americans. If we educate people there is a high likelihood that they will use this knowledge to correct any of these issues or even solve them in their entirety. If the cost of higher education were lowered to a more affordable level, so many more individuals could take advantage of this resource, therefore, educating the masses and correcting various other problems in America’s society. For example, making education available to more individuals helps to diminish the gap between societal classes resulting in a more well-balanced population. Lack of happiness and satisfaction is often relative to the gap between the classes. There is a saying that is often used; “Money can not buy happiness.” This may be true but being able to live a lifestyle that is not paycheck to paycheck is by far less stressful. In theory, criminal activity may even reduce as a result of more education. A majority of crimes aren’t committed because there is a need but rather an envy of a certain lifestyle. Also, by increasing the skilled workforce there will be an influx of innovation along with higher standards of craftsmanship. This is what makes America strong and competitive in comparison to other countries increasing development and economic growth.
