Everywhere, all the time, people can fear something and act out because they can be afraid of something or someone. People tend to be suspicious of people like their partners, unusual noises, or like forgetting something when going somewhere. Ignorance means a lack of knowledge or information, people can make ignorant assumptions which could lead to a lot of bad things like people's lives getting ruined over those false assumptions thinking that they were facts. Everybody can have fear of somebody, be suspicious of somebody, and/or be ignorant and all of those things can make society bad. These times though, people would connect that with a form of witchcraft because it resembled temptation and sin. People were fearful of God and the devil in Salem, Massachusetts (Miller #) therefore almost any unusual behavior was ruled out to be witchcraft. Due to the stuff, Abigail did she was accused of witchcraft. Since she was fearful of this accusation, which she would be hanged for, she started to blame innocent people. The town officials went on a witch hunt to find everybody who was accused and hold them accountable for working with the devil. This is cruel because a lot of innocent people were hung for witchcraft. The Salem Witch Trial is what it is called now in history. Everybody suffered due to it and the town fell apart. Everybody trusted nobody, they all did not like the justice system for what they were doing, and loving family members were lost due to this monstrosity. They would have slaughtered around 50,000-60,000 people for practicing witchcraft. They would also fear and target homosexuals and people who were just accused of being homosexual. It was also reported that from January 2017 to June 2017 they killed 479 people from so-called “mob justice”. Even sometimes it would be government-sanctioned murders of homosexuals. This cruelty of their government is very sad because it just shows that society has been destroyed. A son returned home just to find his elderly mother's body 10 meters away from their house with his dad burnt to death inside of it. The Tanzanians also target older elderly people who fit the description of witches. People with just red-tinted eyes could be accused of it and for simply living in poverty.
