The Vietnam War greatly changed views of America Forever. The main reason for the U.S. involvement into the Vietnam War was to stop the spread of communism. But it was not worth fighting in for many reasons. One, this wasn’t a U.S. concern because Vietnam’s internal Conflict and government problems didn’t clearly affect America. Another reason is that it is said the the cost of the war during the time was $111 which should have affected the United States choice to enter the war. Also, it is said about almost 91,000 Vietnam War-related casualties were recorded during the time as well. Lastly, the U.S. did not hold a very good Conscience going into battle and thinking about what other civilians you would be hurting in other countries like. So

Though the leaders agreed that there was a violation of communism and political freedom, there was no conflict that affected or would have affected the U.S. It is said that the U.S. entered the war to act like the hierarchy of everything to try to make a dominant world power presence during the war but ended up just entering more conflict. Basically you can see that all this really ends up saying that the U.S. was basically the bully of the War and will at some point become weak and end up dropping out of the war.

The Years 1965-1975 it is said the war cost almost 115 billion in expenses on America at the time. To Handle those expenses and the ones from the earlier wars like World War II which was 296 billion had to have had a Major affect and should have been taken into effect when making the decision to enter the war.
