People became famous really fast from playing sports like Babe Ruth. He was a very famous baseball player in the 1920’s but people in the 2000’s still know who he is because he was a legend. Jack Dempsey Is one of the most famous boxers in the 1920’s he was almost as popular as Babe Ruth was. The United States had a really strong economy. Playing sports made people want to watch it in person and pay money to watch the game. The money people paid to watch the game was put into building new stadiums for more people to go watch and play. Paying to watch people play a sport made a lot of money because people just wanted to be entertained.
