The Arab American National Museum is the only museum in the United States that have information about the Arab Americans life and history. It provides an inside look at the cultural aspects of both Middle Eastern and American lifestyles. Also, it highlights the struggles of immigration and the success of famous Arab-Americans. At the museum, there are many interesting exhibits; for instance, the historical exhibits with real artifacts. In the second floor, also there are three particular exhibits; Coming to America, Living in America, and Making an Impact. These three exhibits were very engaging and interesting. Although I have always been curious about visiting this museum before doing this educational trip, I actually enjoyed going there and meeting with the teacher and my classmates because the teacher was very helpful when he was talking about what we observed there during the visit.
In the first floor, I enjoyed looking at “What We Carried” which has fragments from the cradle of civilization, and it describes the idea of when the war forces people to leave their homes and take some practical items, or choose what to leave behind and what to carry with them.
