In order to determine the understanding of society, you must apply the correct method to represent on a macro-level intervention. We as individuals must understand, the behaviors of different backgrounds from diverse and multicultural environments. The level that will apply to the Asian American culture will be the macro-level. With a lack of communication, specific approaches are not beneficial, so therefore strategies are needed to relay information to others about Asian Americans. According to Patel, Kwon, Arista, Tepporn, Chung, Chin, & Tring-Shevrin, 2015), population- wide interventions in communities such as health disparities. Health disparities refer to the differences in the racial/ethnic group, immigrant status, and ethnicity. In Asian American population health disparities differ from other cultures. Environmental factors, access to healthcare, and language barriers are some examples of health disparities. The City of Houston promotes the well- being of individuals to make sure Houstonians are receiving the proper communication, and education needed to eliminate health disparities not only in Asian population but other populations as well.
