With family being one’s biggest influence one gets wired based on a persons upbringing. Families have many inter-workings and things that make each one unique. Usually the path that one’s parents have taken have an effect on the type of life a child envisions as normal or suitable. Before working for something, one must generally have an idea of the overall goal. Therefore, one must corroborate exactly what the person wants as a lifetime goal. Education in America sits at the pinnacle of importance. From an early age, similar to the programming of robots people preach things such as “school is the most important thing,” “you have one job, and that’s school.” The real question is if college for everyone? With majority of the pressure coming from older adults to secure spots for one’s own offspring the pressure begins to become even more to handle. College is a place to experience solitude away from everything one knows and at the same time soak in a new place with new people, and new ideas. For lack of better terms it is four years that shape the beginning of one’s transition from adolescence to sheer adult hood. Contrary college is definitely not for everyone, for example pioneers in technology such as, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates a long with a plethora of other forward thinkers, dropped out of college in order to manifest another dream.
