There are people being segregated and people are witnessing someone being segregated and doing nothing about it. You should stand up against people that are segregating others, this is wrong to do to other people. There is a civil rights movement that you can follow to stop this segregation against African Americans. The African American race does not like being treated like this and they feel as they should be treated equal. Some whites feel like everyone should be treated equally and they fight with these African Americans to end racism. There are many situations were blacks are standing up for themselves and they are being killed or arrested just because there are stubborn white men and women that can not get over the facts that African Americans have the same rights as they do. People should join the civil rights movement and end racism because there are laws that are passed to allow colored people to have rights, everyone should be equal, even …show more content…

When the northern states found out about this they passed a law that states if anyone does not allow African Americans to vote then they will be legally prosecuted. Many whites did not like this because then they couldn’t find a reason to discriminate on African Americans and have it still be legal. In southern state they passed the jim crow laws which was African Americans couldn’t use the same bathrooms, or the same public facilities as whites. When this law sparked up is when people started to really notice how African Americans were being treated and they started to do something about it. When the government allowed this to happen African Americans were mad that whites would allow this to happen and they started to stand up against the government so they would allow them to be completely
