Imagine that Hawaiians and their culture had vanished for example Hawaiian culture had been dying out for many years. It started around 1778-1780 when captain cook put the Hawaiian islands on the map and everyone far and wide started to come to hawaii. This research paper will inform the audience on how the Hawaiian culture started to die out ,what caused it to start dying out ,why it is bad ,and how it can be prevented or solved. Hawaiian culture started to die out for many years, but the question is ,when did the Hawaiian culture start to decrease? In fact, according to the article, Olelo Hawai’i, “Back around 1900. There was a overthrow of the kingdom in 1893 and the following annexation in 1898, the Hawaiian language was entirely banned from school and government. So here is our group solution on carrying on Hawaiian culture is by doing festivals like the merry monarch. If we are able to make a festival on the Hawaiian islands or even on the mainland to inform everyone how important Hawaiian culture is. And making festivals is only one of our solutions on carrying on Hawaiian culture. But in order to have a festival you need to know a lot about Hawaiian culture and how they lived on the islands and the solution tools they used. So the other solution me and my group came up with was how to learn Hawaiian culture and how they used to do things back then. So the other solution we came up with how to teach people Hawaiian ways of wisdom. And also teach people the Hawaiian language so it won't be lost forever. If we can give information to a whole bunch of people than it would be passed down for generations so it will not be
