Positivity From 1500-1750 The years between 1500-1750 were full of growth and education. The bad events that took place during this time are largely overshadowed by all of the improvement that took place. These improvements were ones that moved the world forward to a modern age with democracy and religious freedoms. These years are valuable ones because of the new art forms and culture that arose, the fact that religion began to be a concept rather than a law, and people began to band together and make new political ideas. All of this and more proves that the most drastic advancements to modern society were made in the years between 1500-1750, making them positive years within history. However, as the years progressed people began to branch out from the Roman Catholic point of view and other religions began to form, this is known as the Protestant Reformation. The Reformation had a goal of making religion applicable to everyone in whichever way they needed it to. Some groups chose to follow religion strictly out of the bible and still looked at it as the ultimate laws of mankind, while others began to see the bible as an idea instead of a law. This beginning of Religious freedom ultimately enhansed the well being of Europeans at that time because it allowed people to have new and different perspectives on religion. In modern day, there are over 4000 religions all with different beliefs, ideas, and matters that ultimately allow every person to achieve what they want out of religion. The reformation allowed for people to begin to take God as something they could rely on in times of need and something that would always be there for them, even in the afterlife. This differed from the fear which God had over people in earlier years that was havily enforced by the Roamn catholic church. Religion in the reformation times also impacted countries in a positive way because they became able to make rules for themselves rather than feeling forced to make all laws centered directly around religion. These religious movements allowed for the world to move towards a less judgemental society therefore making these times positive
