For the past decade the United States has faced an emerging issue that has gripped politicians into endless debates and has caused an uproar of angry citizens. Illegal immigration cannot be ignored any longer and my stakeholder has a mission to end it. “The mission of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is to examine immigration trends and effects, to educate the American people on the impacts of sustained high-volume immigration, and to discern, put forward, and advocate immigration policies that will best serve American environmental, societal, and economic interests today and into the future.” The images I have chosen are representations of my stakeholder, which accomplishes the goal of educating the American people about immigration, and the American people who are “fighting a FAIR fight” against immigration which helps to advocate for immigration policies that best serve the nations interests. …show more content…

Their mission statement, which is stated above, simply strives to accomplish three goals. They seek to improve border security, stop illegal immigration, and to promote more traditional immigration rates of 300,000 people yearly. The methods FAIR uses to accomplish this mission are by directly lobbying, increasing public awareness of the causes and effects of illegal immigration, and by informing leaders in the government as well as the media of these issues and the possible solutions. FAIR has over 250,000 members and supporters who are both conservative and liberal and their grassroots networks assist citizens to help speak up for effective immigration
