Inception, I personally think that it is a one of a kind movie. It really shows different perspectives of life that you could never imagine. A dream within a dream within a dream… Wow, just by saying this sentence it’s fascinating. It makes you wonder , makes you question your own reality, what is real and what is fake. To show that this is a sci-fi movie, Christopher Nolan, the director, added this whole part about dreams, limbo, creating their own world, virtual realities, manipulation, which this movie has a lot because the goal in the 3-layer dream is to go into Fisher’s mind, a millionaire, to plant an idea of splitting up his dad’s company. Also for the objects, the passive dream machine, that brings them into the virtual world, the totems that they use to see if they are in reality or not, and all the technology that was developed, that shows that Inception is a science fiction movie. The director of this movie is Christopher Nolan, he has done many other movies amongst this one like The Dark Night Trilogy, his movie themes are mostly about mazes, impossible constructions and paradoxes. Something that’s really interesting in this movie is the Penrose stairs, it’s a result of optical illusion, although these stairs are supposed to be never-ending, in a dream it’s different, every dream has a border.
