In the play “Julius Caesar,” by William Shakespeare there are many great, well structured scenes. My personal favorite scene in the entire play is when Julius Caesar’s life is taken from him. There was an entire plot as to how the conspirators wanted to end Caesar’s life. In the play, the conspirators were the Roman Senators which was led by Cassius, Decimus Brutus, and Marcus Brutus. Julius Caesar was stabbed violently to his death on the Ides of March (March 15) at the Capitol building without him having a clue of what's going on. Before Caesar heads over to the Capitol, he's warned by his crying wife Calpurnia not to go to the Capitol because she had a dream of seeing the people of Rome bathing in Caesar’s blood after he was brutally murdered and that she was holding his bleeding body in her …show more content…

After he makes this statement he immediately leaves and makes his way to the Capitol to head over to the Theater of Pompey. Another reason as to why I enjoyed this scene is because of all of the action that was presented. Their was a sense of nervousness from all of the conspirators because something could've went wrong and there was a lot of pressure put onto all them with the whole situation. Decimus ends up at Caesar’s house and urges him to make his way to the Capitol because he doesn’t want to bring disappointment to the people that are waiting for his arrival. On his way to the Capitol, large crowds of people approached Caesar and before he entered a man named Artemidorus attempts to warm him of danger by placing a small scroll into his hand, but Caesar ignores it. Once Caesar settled in the theater, a man named Cimber distracts Caesar from what’s about to happen by handing him a petition and asking if his exile brother could return, but Caesar wouldn’t allow for it to happen, so Cimber ended up furious with Caesar’s
