Imagine being being in a war and getting a giant amount of your land taken for no justifiable reason. That is what happened to the people of Mexico in the war. The War on Mexico was a war between Mexicans and Americans where the Americans wanted to expand the slave market and the mexicans wanted no part in that. The Americans then annexed texans to expand their land but they also wanted some of Mexico’s because it was bigger. Lots of Tension grew over time and it resulted in a War. The Mexican American War should not have happened, the Mexicans should not have gotten that treatment. Although the United States War against Mexico resulted in the gaining of America's most valuable land, the war itself was unjust because of Texas, Slavery, and US Government Actions.
To start off with, it was unjustifiable due to Texas and their Selfishness. Texas started this war because they were being greedy. The Texans should have been thankful for their great cheap land. Instead, they started causing havoc and doing their own thing in every way. They did not obey the laws they swore they would either. They eventually started to practice their own laws.
