The Mexican American War was a two year war that lasted between 1846-1848. This war molded the United States and Mexico that exist today. This Major war radically changed the relationship between Mexico and the United States, and was one of the greatest changes in the West. The Mexican American war was legitimate pronounced in 1846 which began off with the skirmish of Palo Alto which Mexican troops were in a detriment and needed to escape which were tailed by American trooper's. Each of the fights Mexican troops needed to withdraw from being dwarfed. During the Mexican American War large portions of the American troops were not prepared in the same territory and numerous passed on of sickness than in combat because of absence of essentials this was america greatest test. The American troops win their way to the city of Mexico after the clash of Churubusco to have their last fight which Mexican troops which were debilitated from the loss of fights and troops. Mexican troops that were in president Antonio Lopez put out an incredible resistance yet there captial city was under the United States full control. Indeed, even after the United States took control of their capital Antonio Lopez wanted to keep on battling however his troops declined to battle feeling discouraged to continue the war. Due to the defeat to the united States Mexican president Antonio Lopez lost presidential and military power.
