Essay Mitochondrial Disease is when the body has problems producing mitochondria which means it has a problem producing energy. “Mitochondria produces energy to conduct functions which run the body like digestion,maintaining heartbeat rhythms and many more”(Mitochondrial Disease: The Energy-Sapping Condition You May Not Know You Have). Mitochondrial disease can show a big range of symptoms like hearing loss,seizures, strokes, heart failure and diabetes.Many tests need to be done to diagnose it which need a lot of things from your blood to urine(pee) to lactic acidosis.
