In Elie Wiesel's autobiography, Night, he speaks out about his unforgettable experiences in Birkenau as a Jewish prisoner. All of the things Elie shall never forget is due to the fact that this experience changed his life drastically. It changed him as an individual and had detrimental effects on him for the rest of his life. Elie maintains this atrocious memories because it is something he survived. He, unlike so many, survived. By talking about his experience, he tells some of the story about those who did not live to speak about this horrific experience. It brings justice and shines a light on all of the lives lost during the Holocaust. These memories stuck with him for the rest of his life.
