A Modest Proposal to Ridicule Slow Drivers and Eliminate the Unjustified Act of Driving Slow in the Fast Lane and Ensure Those Who Do Be Punished and Severely Prosecuted

Have you ever been stuck behind a slow driver in the passing lane, and there was just somewhere you had to be? I think it can be agreed upon that these infuriating actions need to be demolished. Thousands of people everyday are affected by slow drivers. From being late to simply wanting to get to point A to point B without driving behind a slow person is all people ask for. Slow drivers need to learn that their actions have consequences. Is it that difficult to comprehend that the right lane is for passing? Fourthly, with this system emerging, racism will vanish. With all the controversy about placing people in prison for, “driving safe,” the country will seldom think about racism and rights. Those will be topics of the past, which basically means that they aren 't relevant anymore. Yay! No more riots. Right?

Fifthly, this will significantly decrease the death rate. Nearly 1.3 million people die in road related crashes each year. By taking the troubled drivers out of the picture, this number should drop substantially. There is no other answer or option.

Don’t try to tell me there are ways around this, because there aren’t any. Where were these other options when those millions of people continuously ran late for work due to a slow driver? One will not leave earlier, and take account for slow drivers. One will not cuss and scream at grandmas getting out for the first time in weeks, no longer! And don’t even bring up the fact, “can’t you just drive behind someone?” because the answer is no! Slow drivers need to be prosecuted. People are tired of it, I’m tired of it. Protocols will be made, these people will be stopped.

Of course, this doesn 't include me. I have had my license revoked for speeding, and no longer drive in my day to day life. Therefore, this genius plan to cleanse the world of slow drivers will just have to wait until another
