The Mistakes of Romeo and Juliet What mistakes did Romeo and Juliet make throughout their time together? The title of the play is Romeo and Juliet, and William Shakespeare wrote it. In the play two young lovers from two different families that do not like each other fall in love. One of the lovers gets in trouble and gets kicked out of the town. Now the two lovers can’t see each other and come up with a plan that does not end well. The mistakes that Romeo and Juliet made are that they fall in love, they don’t tell their families that they got married, and Romeo fighting with Tybalt.
One of the first mistakes that Romeo and Juliet make is that they fall in love. They are young and fell in love with just seeing each other one time. After they met Juliet was talking to the Nurse about Romeo and she said “My only love, sprung from my only hate! / Too early seen unknown, and known too late! / Prodigious birth of love it is to me / That I must love a loathed enemy” (1.5.138-141). This line that Juliet says that she truly loves Romeo. Come to find out Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet. Their families have been feuding for years. Falling in love takes more than one day and you should really get to know who the person is and about their family before getting married.
