Sodas or soft drinks are beverages that contain carbonated water usually with sugar and flavors. Some research has showed that nearly 1 in 5 Americans drink at least one can of soda per day. Soft drinks by an average person can be consumed up to three times a day. Although many people know the harm sodas can cause, they still decide to ignore the facts and drink soda. There are many reasons to why people drink sodas; one of the most common reasons is, because it tastes good. Sodas have a very good taste especially when a person has it with a meal. As for the PSA, I think YouTube is a great and also one of the best ways to advertise such promotions for people. I would also like to address and affect family members, and friends of people who drink soda. This way they will take the seriousness of this matter into consideration and therefore advice their family members and friends, to reduce or stop drinking it. One of the ways that I plan to find out if my PSA actually worked, is by creating another focus group of the same people who were addressed before they watched the PSA and after and ask them similar questions, in order to be able to compare and differentiate the results. This way based on their answers and responses I will be able to find out if less people actually started drinking soft drinks, and for those who did, what they actually think about it after they found out of all the harm it was causing them and how do they feel. I do not expect to see direct change from people, especially for those who are used to it. Soft drinks addiction is similar to any other addiction. As some studies have showed, Sodas contain caffeine, which is a drug that usually has a bad effect on the human brain. Caffeine is the main reason why sodas and soft drinks
