It is unfair that the USA national Women’s Soccer Team brings in more revenue than the Men’s Team, but individually is paid less money than the men. I am responding to the position that the Women on our nations soccer team are being disregarded for their achievements on the field and off the field. They contribute their time and hard work just much as the men, plus they are bringing home trophies frequently every year. But as of now they are being overlooked. Nonetheless the bigger picture is that the Pay gap between the Men and Women of our Nations soccer team is too large but for what purpose? The women are bringing more revenue and more titles than the men, they maybe even better than Men’s Team. I feel very strongly about this topic because since the time women could work a job they have always been treated differently whether they could handle just as much work as the men or if they are being payed equally for the work they do. Women’s rights are just as important as Men’s. There is a lot of things that women do for this country and not just in sports. My stance on this topic is that it is unfair that the facts are being unnoticed, and someone needs to find the underlying cause of it now. Per” PBS News Hour” the proof is in the pudding, the Women’s soccer team for the U.S is doing better than the Men and is producing positive results for our country with providing more revenue and World Cup wins. But justice has not been served.
