Why be on yearbook? School spirit, what is it? Schools spirit is showing support for your school. It could even be as little as wearing your school colors. Maybe as big as wearing a viking costume at a football game. School spirit is very important because it’s like showing love for your school. Year book is a way to capture memories of school spirit. By being on yearbook you get to go to more events and show school spirit. When I was a 7th grader, I remember seeing a girl at the basketball game and school assembly taking pictures.I wondered what they were taking them for. To be a part of capturing those memories. You could capture a moment of history without even knowing it. You would make friendships that you never thought would happen. Learn more about each other or learn how to shoot a digital camera. People can create friendships by working as a team. This is an opportunity I am not missing. There are many possibilities with being on the yearbook staff, being a “yearbook-ee”. From learning how a camera works to expressing creativity. I hope to help make this yearbook spectacular.
What do I hope to accomplish this year in yearbook? I hope to make this yearbook so spectacular… That no one will ever be able to top it. With all of our minds coming together I know we can do that. The yearbook from last year had good pictures. I like the one of the football game. The fonts were really interesting, but were hard to read. Plus not a lot of contrasting colors. Making the font hard to read sometimes.
In conclusion, yearbook play an important key in your education. They can help us remember what we did and we we are or were in school. You may have changed you may have not, but the importance is that a yearbook helped you remember. I want to be a part of helping people remember. There may be ememories people wish for us not to talk about, but as journalist it is part of our job to report current
