the issue of ethics and out sourcing labor has never been just two sided, one side right and one side wrong. There are multiple angles and numerous approaches to issues complex as this, one of which is that American corporations and businesses cut costs in constructing safe work housing. the problem is all of these people are dying because we don't even have human rights set in place.
It is better to work in a sweatshop, and take the risk of working in an unsafe place, to make a decent wage rather than working in agriculture is what these workers are thinking. The workers are not concerned enough with their own rights to make a stand for safer working conditions because they know that corporations will just ignore them and move somewhere else. Corporations know that if they can move somewhere where the workers are desperate enough, they can get away with building cheaper infrastructure and cutting costs. corporations and businesses don't have human rights correct, they do not have enough respect for their fellow man to produce a safe environment for the construction of their own goods. It is not ethical for corporations and business to exploit fellow human beings to work in terrible conditions such as Bangladesh or Dhaka.
