There was a guy named Daryl, who was an honest, churchgoing fellow and lived with his mom. All of his money vanished in the stock market and he only had about a hundred dollars set aside. He desperately needed to find a way to get a job. He ventured out to make and sell cartoons. His first night he wrote out his plans and got ready to draw, then realized how tired he was, so he went to bed. When he woke up the characters were already drawn up and put into the computer, as the TV show would look. Daryl was really confused, but impressed. He hollered for his mom asking her to come down to his room, because he wanted to know if anyone went down there in the middle of the night. She had a puzzled expression and wanted to know what all of this was about. He held up the computer up to her face so she could see and she congratulated him on the cartoon and encouraged him to try and sell it for good money. When he woke up that morning he saw everything was drawn and in the computer again. He went to sell this one to the same company. They have paid him $10,000 per cartoon so far. He wanted to get to the bottom of this mystery. Questions flew through his mind, “Did I do this while asleep, did my mom finish this while I was asleep, do I have someone spying on me and finishing the job for me?” None of these seemed logical, one how could he do it and not remember, two his mom did not know how to work a computer, and three one would think he would see someone spying on him. How could this be happening? He decided to try and catch them in the act. So he set up the plot for the next cartoon and placed everything where they normally were. Then, he hid behind a bookcase that was in his room and waited there all night. Before he knew it, he fell asleep and when he woke up in the morning the cartoon was made again.
