The villagers of a small town gather together in the square on June 27, a beautiful day, for the town lottery. I know that the lottery I am talking about is a different kind of lottery than what are thinking about. This is the kind of lottery where it is about life or death, it is a win or lost in this world. I 'm the girl Tessie Hutchinson the lucky lottery women who won, why is it me. I didn’t deserve this I already had enough to deal with and now this, great just what I needed am I right. First I was excited about the lottery and fully willing to participate every year, but when my family’s name was drawn, I protest that the lottery isn’t fair.
