“I want to be a pretty corpse.” said Eva Braun twenty-four hours before she committed suicide with her husband Adolf Hitler on April 30th 1945. Eva Braun was an innocent, young women with a growing modeling career. When she met Hitler, she let her career go to the wayside. She was the one and only person that could have stopped the genocide. We should remember her now because she was part of the the most well-known Genocide in history, the Holocaust. (The Biography.com)

Eva Braun Hitler was born on February 6, 1912 in Munich, Germany. She was the middle child of three daughters in a middle class family. She first attended a convent school, then was a bookkeeper and assistant at the shop of Heinrich Hoffmann, who was Adolf Hitler’s personal photographer. Eva met Adolf in 1929 in Hoffman’s store. She was 17 and he was 40 at the time. In the early 1930’s, their relationship became more serious. Eva's father, Fritz did not like Eva’s involvement with Adolf; Hitler devoted all of his time into the Nazi Party and ignored her. Eva Braun was the only person that could have stopped Hitler’s cruelty to human kind. “He was very thankful for her. To one of his adjutants, Hitler said: ‘This woman came to me at a time when all others were leaving me. You can’t believe what this meant to me. He was very thankful that she stayed loyal to him; that she didn’t leave him like Himmler and Speer and all the other Nazis.’” (historynet.com) According to Hitler himself Eva was a person that Hitler relied on.
