I just finished the amazing book Prodigy by a clever author Marie Lu. The book starts off with Day and June plan their travel to Las Vegas. They are on their way to Las Vegas in order to meet the Patriots, who are said to be working for the Colonies. In this journal I will be evaluating a character, predicting, and connecting what will happen next. In the first main point of this journal I will be evaluating the character Day Wing in the book Prodigy. One of the first main points you should know about Day is that his first name is actually Daniel; the name Day is more of an alias. Day was born into the slums of the Republic’s Lake Sector. Which I will be going more into detail about the different traits I think we have in common. The first connection I can connect with Day on is that he is 16 at the moment in this book, and I am also 16 myself. All of the suspense and the different types of action in this series is why I read these types of books. I read these types of books because suspense and action keep it interesting and you never know what might happen. A second type of characteristic that Day and I have in common is that I’m compassionate, and I protect those who I care about. Pascao then gave me one of his signature grimaces: “The people’s hero kills the tyrant. What a story that will be” (Lu 154). Another thing that is connecting is that we are both caring, I will always to do what is best for friends and family. One of the last points I can connect with Day on is that I’m also athletic in running. Although I have never climbed 5 stories in 8 seconds with leg injuries in which Day did make him like an invisible person. In conclusion, I have many different connecting details like
